VCU Project-Z Nap Pods

This is a project that is working on designing and constructing Nap Pods for use at VCU and other college campuses. We are designing these Nap Pods for students that commute or don't have enough time to go back to their dorm/apartment to use to take a short nap in. This can be very crucial for college students as many students struggle with not getting enough sleep. The Nap Pods can also be used as a quite place to take a brain break or study in. The interdisciplinary team is made up of 8 students, each from a different area of study.

I was recruited by the project advisor in order to Engineer and 3D Model the design of the Nap Pod for Commercial Manufacturing. I have been utilizing my SolidWorks Skills to 3D Model the Nap Pods. So far we are in the Design & Prototyping Stages of the Design Process.
