I am the Project and Lab Manager for the HyperRAMS VIP. Through this role, I oversee and coordinate HyperLabs' research & competition division, HyperRAMS(Hyper Robotics, Autonomous, & Mechatronic Systems), which is a part of VCU's VIP Program. On this team, we have multiple cross-functional sub-teams for each project, and I ensure that each team is working towards the same goals and project.
We have 3 projects that I am currently managing:
- An autonomous package delivery vehicle for the Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition (IGVC)
- Neural Control of a robotic vehicle and arm through EEG and EMG.
- The last project is one that I proposed: Universal Controller for Robotics and Mechatronics Projects. We are designing a wearable arm & hand sleeve with integrated sensors to record as many types of movements as we can. These recorded movements will be translated into ROS (Robot Operating System) and used to control any type of robotic or mechatronic project, including Robotic Arms, Vehicles, Quadrapeds, Humanoids, Drones, Planes, and more!
