Crowder Construction Internship

Summer Internship with Crowder Construction at the Byrd Park Reservoir Rehabilitation Project Jobsite. The Byrd Park Reservoir was built in 1876 and holds 54.8 million gallons of drinking water that it supplies to Richmond and its surrounding counties. Crowder Construction was hired to update the Reservoir by building a new Aluminum Roofing Structure, adding a Mixing System to the tanks, and updating the Inlet and Overflow Piping.

My Significant Contributions:
- Purchased Materials for the Jobsite
- Managed the Jobsite Safety Committee and Led Safety Walks
- Tracked Foundation Drain Installation
- Updated As-Builts Logs
- Spring Hollow WTP(Salem, VA) Job Preparation
- Utilized LIDAR 3D Mapping in Confined Space to design custom Gate Valve Cap

I greatly improved my communication skills by coordinating with suppliers and site employees and gaining a proficiency in reading construction drawings during my internship.
